Affordability, durability and tone are what make the Electro-Harmonix Little Big Muff Pi guitar pedal a must have. A smaller footprint than it's bigger brother also makes this a more practical effects pedal. For more info visit EHX.

Great site. A lot of useful information here. I’m sending it to some friends!
I'm just getting started playing electric guitar and I stumbled on your web site quite by accident. I love the tone of the Little Big Muff. Without your review I never would have considered buying it. Thanks for doing the review. I'll be back for other reviews.
@James: for what it's worth, some people say the LBM is a bit brighter than the NYC, and some people say it's darker/muddier :).. One thing is clear is that it's much smaller! I have the little one and it sounds great to me.
I just got rid of the Big Muff Pi. It didn't roar as much as I'd hoped. Picked up the Line 6 DM4 instead. Does a good job of modeling the Big Muff and others will a little more gain control and presence. The little Big Muff does seem to sound better though...
Man, great tone coming out of this pedal, thanks for the review they are super helpful. I particularly like the sustain knob i think that is a cool feature. Rock on!

Sweet! Classic effect!
I'm considering this one. Does anyone know what the circuit resembles? NYC? An older one maybe?

I have the russian version of this and the tone is a little darker and not as smooth. I think I like this one a little better. Nice review!

I have the Big Muff and I would trade it today for the little Big Muff. The Big one is just too big but the sound is great.
