The Original Jim Dunlop Cry Baby GCB-95, a wah pedal that's solidly built, has a great range of tone and a price that can't be beat. No wonder it's the best selling guitar pedal of all time and an essential piece of music gear! For more info visit Dunlop.

One of the pedals every guitarist should have! I plan on investing in one soon. Thanks for the review and demo!
I agree with the previous comment, maybe the first pedal to have if you like the 60'/ 70' sounds in addition with the cute VOX in the video ;)
Everybody says this pedal sucks tone, but i can't barely hear it on this review.
Great pedal and very nice video!
this pedal gives me happy time, yes? high five!
This wah DOES suck your guitar's tone. It is not true bypass. There are several mods available to correct it, and I highly recommend it~!
Perhaps a future demo will have to be a head to head with a moded and unmoded wah.
Sounds awesome. My hero Kirk Hammett uses this all day long... Dunlop is giving away some signature versions on their site, btw. Check 'em out too.
Haha! Kirk Hammett uses one while he brushes his teeth in the morning!
Certainly beats the Boss ME-50 wah!
i want the TL-2 Metal Distortion from Hardwire!
Great review! I've been looking to get one of these and it sounds sick in this video. Thanks!
Tried it and compared it to the dimebag wah, I prefered the db01 but the GCB-95 for it's price is a good choice ;)
I nearly bought the Crybaby over the holidays! Got a Fender Deville instead! =)
(also, if I'm lucky enough to win the contest, send me a message on facebook, i've liked your page!)
Ya a Fender Deville is a little bit better than a wah. Thanks for liking the Facebook page!
i wanna try out the TL-2 Metal Distortion from Hardwire!
Great site, i will definitely pass it on to my brother (awesome guitar player!) I bet he wouldn't mind the TL-2 Metal Distortion from Hardwire!
This is definitely a classic, must have pedal for sure. Although the top end of the wah can be a little too high frequency for my ears; I use the Jimi Hendrix JH-1 model, which is more of a mid-range wah.
Superb blog post, I have book marked this internet site so ideally I’ll see much more on this subject in the foreseeable future!
That's what I like to hear. Cheers for that!
It sounds great! Another piece of gear that I want but can't afford, great! lol
I've owned multiple crybaby's over the years. The reason I like them is because it seems to have a larger tone sweep than all other wahs I've tried. I sometimes even use it in some applications where I need a distinct sound to select a tone and play through it without sweeping.
One thing I find though is that the pot gets dirty fairly quickly (I'm not sure why). Whlie they can be cleaned, it's not always easy to put it back together. I've got a few lying in parts...
It's awesome that you give your personal opinion, pros and cons!!!
Thanks Denislav!
I recently replaced my crybaby with a Fulltone clyde wah and I found that the crybaby did suck tone a bit where as the fulltone doesnt, but for the price the crybaby does an amazing job and is definately a must have.
Great review
Keep em comin
I have the 80's version of this pedal, and I use it as much as a treble gain booster as a Wah. If you play with low gain pick-ups, this gives your guitar a cutting edge.
I played the cheapy Laguna 3/4 scale through a VOX mini3 and it sounded quite muddy, with no bite, Ah..but through the Cry Baby in the Hi/treble position, and the guitar set in the middle selector postion, the Luguna now sounds exactly like Rick Derringer's Gibson semi-hollow body in the live vs. of White Trash's Tobacco Road, prob. the best guitar sound ever!!!!!
If I don't use my Cry Baby, I can't play right.
BTW: ease back on the pedal, and you can get close to the Money for Nothing Dire Straights tone, not to mention Voodoo Child as a Wah..
